The purpose of Dallas District Golf Association is to promote the best interest and true spirit of golf, as embodied in its ancient and honorable tradition, among golfers in the greater Dallas area.

The DDGA provides a schedule of tournaments, including an individual championship and a four-ball championship plus will add the Dallas Cup in 2008.

The DDGA has awarded more than $200,000 in scholarships to deserving students in the past 37 years through funds raised in the Graham Ross Pro-Am and currently in the DDGA Charity Classic. The latter event and the scholarship program is currently run for the DDGA by the Northern Texas PGA.

The DDGA is open to all golfers at country clubs and golf clubs in Dallas and surrounding counties. Annual dues are $30. If interested in joining, send the $30 along with name, address, phone number and e-mail address to James McAfee at 1737 Lionel St., #169, Wylie, TX 75098.
